Kayla’s Holiday Message

Bundle Benefits
2 min readDec 25, 2020

This holiday season, amid the holiday Zoom calls and Netflix marathons, my family and I are taking more time than usual to reflect on all our blessings and lessons learned. On top of everything I’ve learned during 2020, I’ve especially learned how important making connections is. Small talk used to be just a thing you did. Chatting about the weather on the check-out line at the grocery store was as normal as dining out or going to the movies. Now, making conversation with strangers feels more important than ever before.

I first had the idea for Bundle when working from home was just a perk some companies offered, and corona referred to a beer. All that changed in March and Bundle has become even more essential to working families than ever before. Since our launch in 2018, Bundle has been able to provide over 1,000 hours of virtual education and engagement, offering caregivers a much-needed break.

A lot can happen in 1,000 hours. Children can learn new skills and working parents can catch up on emails. Laundry can get folded, dishes can be put away, and the cat can be fed. In this year of change and uncertainty, to me, that number means that Bundle has been able to create 1,000 hours of connections. We hear time and time again from families about the connections formed, and how Bundle breaks are their favorite part of the day.

Last month during Thanksgiving, I really took the time to think about what I’m grateful for, like my family’s health. As the beginning of 2021 gets closer and closer, I’m thinking a lot more about new beginnings. I’m excited to continue growing with Bundle, and what the new year will offer us. We recently announced the launch of two new product lines, Me and Team breaks. Geared towards busy adults, these breaks will continue fostering connections and provide a much-needed respite from the daily grind.

Most of all, I’m hopeful. If the past year has shown us anything, it’s that humankind is resilient. We came together to thank our healthcare heroes and help each other out. We’ve bonded over our favorite at-home activities and recipes and found ways to stay connected over Zoom. As the COVID-19 vaccine continues to roll out, my hope is that we carry on the trend of togetherness. Building connections is what has gotten us through 2020 and is what will continue to help us thrive.
